Employee Benefits Account Manager / HR Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager / HR Manager to join a team. This role is pivotal in overseeing daily administrative functions, managing employee benefits accounts, and fostering a positive company culture. The successful candidate will act as a liaison between upper management and employees, ensuring smooth operations and excellent client service.

Compensation Package

• Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 annually


• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package provided

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily administrative functions, including staffing, strategic planning, and office/facility management.


• Act as a liaison between upper management and employees, addressing questions and concerns.


• Build and maintain company culture through effective hiring processes and employee relations.


• Manage and service employee benefits accounts for small to medium-sized groups (2-200 lives).


• Quote new and renewal business for approximately 10 client groups.


• Collaborate with insurance carriers to ensure seamless service delivery.


• Utilize EPIC software for account management and documentation.


• Participate in training with the current team to ensure a smooth transition.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in servicing employee benefits accounts and a strong background in human resources.


• Licenses/Certifications: Life and Health (L&H) license required.


• Technical Skills: Proficiency in EPIC software.


• Soft Skills: Outgoing, self-starter, professional demeanor, excellent communication, and organizational skills.


• Work Environment: Fully remote position; candidates must be self-motivated and capable of working independently.
