Outside Sales Account Manager / Territory Sales Manager / Sales Engineer – Engineered Sealing Solutions

Wisconsin / Northern Illinois

$150,000 - $200,000+ Total Compensation (Uncapped Commission Structure)

An Outside Sales Account Manager / Territory Sales Manager / Sales Engineer is required for a field-based industrial sales role covering Wisconsin and Northern Illinois, with potential expansion into surrounding Midwest markets.

This role is ideal for a commercially driven technical salesperson who understands engineered sealing solutions and enjoys developing customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and managing an established territory.

You will take ownership of an existing customer base whilst also developing new business across OEMs, manufacturers, and industrial customers. The successful candidate will represent a broad portfolio of sealing solutions, including O-rings, gaskets, hydraulic seals, mechanical seals, engineered elastomers, and related industrial products.

The Outside Sales Account Manager / Territory Sales Manager / Sales Engineer – Engineered Sealing Solutions Role:

• Manage and grow an established sales territory across Wisconsin and Northern Illinois


• Develop new business opportunities across OEM, manufacturing, and industrial customers


• Build relationships with purchasing, engineering, maintenance, and operations contacts


• Sell engineered sealing solutions including O-rings, gaskets, hydraulic seals, mechanical seals, elastomers, and related products


• Identify customer challenges and recommend appropriate technical solutions


• Grow existing accounts through regular customer visits and relationship development


• Prospect for new customers and develop long-term commercial partnerships


• Manage the complete sales process from initial contact through negotiation and close


• Maintain accurate CRM activity, sales pipeline, and forecasting


• Work independently while collaborating with internal technical and operational teams

Outside Sales Account Manager / Territory Sales Manager / Sales Engineer – Engineered Sealing Solutions Requirements:

• Experience in an Outside Sales Account Manager, Territory Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, or similar industrial sales role


• Experience selling sealing products, engineered components, fluid power products, or related industrial solutions


• Strong ability to develop new business and grow existing customer relationships


• Experience selling into OEM, manufacturing, industrial, or MRO environments


• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills


• Ability to work independently and manage a large geographic territory


• Commercial mindset with a proven ability to hunt for new opportunities


• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly for customer visits

Desirable Experience:

• Engineered sealing experience (O-rings, gaskets, hydraulic seals, mechanical seals, elastomers)


• Experience with industrial distribution or value-added technical sales


• Background with companies such as Trelleborg, Freudenberg, Parker, ERIKS, Chesterton, Greene Tweed, Hallite, Garlock, or similar


• Experience selling technical products into manufacturing, OEM, or process industries


• Engineering, technical, or industrial qualification
