Salary

Job Description

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve moderate to complex general liability claims, with a focus on premises liability


• Analyze coverage and liability, determine compensability, and assess damages


• Communicate effectively with insureds, claimants, attorneys, vendors, and internal teams


• Review medical records, incident reports, contracts, and other evidence to support claim decisions


• Accurately document claim activity and maintain a proactive file strategy


• Attend mediations, settlement conferences, and provide litigation management as needed


• Stay current with jurisdictional laws and ensure regulatory compliance


• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members when appropriate

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of general liability claims experience, with a strong focus on premises liability


• Experience handling claims involving bodily injury, property damage, and legal liability issues


• Multi-jurisdictional claims handling experience is strongly preferred


• Strong investigative and negotiation skills


• Excellent written and verbal communication


• Familiarity with claims systems and Microsoft Office suite


• Insurance designations such as AIC or CPCU are a plus
