Job Title: Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Account Management: Manage and maintain a portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring all policies are current, accurate, and tailored to the client’s needs.


• Client Relationships: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients by serving as their primary point of contact for insurance-related inquiries and support.


• Policy Processing: Oversee the renewal process, policy changes, endorsements, audits, and claims management to ensure client satisfaction.


• Problem Solving: Analyze complex coverage issues and recommend customized insurance solutions to meet specific needs of commercial clients.


• Sales Support: Collaborate with producers, underwriters, and carriers to strategize on new business opportunities and present proposals to prospective clients.


• Compliance: Stay updated with insurance industry regulations and ensure all activities comply with applicable standards and guidelines.


• Team Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of account servicing and retention efforts.

Qualifications/Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.


• Licensed in Property and Casualty insurance (state-specific licensing required, or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe).


• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a commercial insurance account management role or closely related field.


• Strong knowledge of commercial lines coverages, policy forms, and risk management practices.


• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to cultivate and maintain client relationships effectively.


• Proficiency in insurance management software systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry designations such as CIC, CPCU, or ARM are highly desirable.


• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and exhibit high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.


• Demonstrated expertise in conflict resolution and issue escalation.


• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
