Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $155,000 - $185,000 (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret business reports, including credit checks, bank agreements, and financial statements, to support underwriting processes.


• Oversee risk selection, pricing, retention, growth, and profitability for the assigned branch office.


• Assess risk quality in compliance with company guidelines and standards.


• Review underwriting decisions and provide recommendations for extending surety credit, including terms and conditions.


• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.


• Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.


• Ensure timely and informed decision-making while maintaining integrity and honesty.


• Coach and develop team members to achieve established objectives.


• Utilize independent judgment and initiative to support business goals.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.


• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related experience in commercial surety underwriting.


• Progression toward certifications such as Associate in Surety and Fidelity Bonding (AFSB), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) is preferred.


• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.


• Proven ability to operate with integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
