Wholesale Producer/Broker

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and dynamic Wholesale Producer/Broker to cultivate strong relationships with retail agents, deliver exceptional customer service, and drive business growth. This role involves matching clients' diverse needs with customized insurance products and requires a strategic, results-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with retail agents and other stakeholders.


• Develop new business opportunities and grow the book of business through effective marketing and prospecting.


• Negotiate pricing and terms with insurance carriers to secure the best coverage options for clients.


• Identify and assess client risks to provide expert guidance on coverage options.


• Act as a liaison between retail agents and insurance carriers, ensuring seamless communication and efficient processes.


• Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and related documentation.


• Stay updated on insurance industry trends, products, and regulations to provide informed advice and remain competitive in the marketplace.


• Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and account managers, to ensure exceptional client service.


• Monitor and manage client accounts to ensure accuracy, compliance, and satisfaction.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role as a Wholesale Broker or Producer.


• Active and in-good-standing brokerage license, as per regulatory requirements.


• Strong understanding of the insurance industry, marketplace, and various coverage lines.


• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple accounts and deadlines.


• Self-motivated, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.


• Proficiency in industry-specific software tools and CRM platforms.


• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
