New Loan Setup Associate

General Job Summary

The New Loan Setup Associate is responsible for facilitating setup of all new loans and escrow accounts, both manual and electronic, working with the investors to ensure accuracy of data and resolving any discrepancies. Identify any missing information needed to complete the new loan or escrow setup, completing the flood certificate setup, and work with Escrow and Customer Service departments to resolve any discrepancies.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

• Process and check in new loans, prepare funding sheets for posting of funds, and setup manual/electronic new loans
• Process manual/electronic escrow setup, identifying any discrepancies and working with clients to ensure accuracy of records
• Identify missing documentation needed to complete the new loan setup, escrow setup and work with clients to resolve as applicable
• Process all flood certificate setup
• Work with Escrow, Accounting, and Customer Service departments to resolve any setup issues identified after completion
• Work with Servicing Transfer team on incoming servicing transfer on vendor tables, creating vendors, and setting up escrow on manual loans

Other Job Functions

• Work with clients by responding to emails and telephone requests
• All other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

Education, Training and Work Experience

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required
• Previous experience in mortgage loan servicing desired

Working Environment

Primary working environment is within an indoor climate-controlled office space and/or a private home office or some combination which will be at managements sole discretion. Employee may be subject to florescent lighting, dust, and other normal indoor allergens. Employee may work in close proximity of coworkers and occasionally independently in quiet environments.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 20 pounds
• Extended periods of sitting (at computer desk)
• Complete repetitive tasks (including operation of computer mouse/keyboard)
