New Car Check-in/ Basic Facility Maintenance

We are currently looking for a motivated individual with an attention to detail to inspect and check in brand new vehicles arriving from the manufacturer.  This job is an essential part of the new vehicle sales process.  This position is also responsible for basic facility upkeep as needed.  We offer competitive compensation including benefits and paid vacation.  This position is full time Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect new vehicles shipped from the manufacturer.
  
  
  
  • Note any damage or missing parts on the delivery receipt.
  
  
  • Verify the presence of accessories listed on the window sticker.
  
  
  • Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against invoice
  
  
  
  


• Check in new vehicles by tagging the vehicle and the keys.
  
  
  
  • Catalog and store keys.
  
  
  • Place window stickers and stock tags on vehicles.
  
  
  
  


• Park vehicles in assigned areas.
  
  
  
  • Keep vehicle inventory organized, charged and ready to go.
  
  
  
  


• Drive vehicles to and from service lane, body shop and parking lots as needed.


• Help clear snow and brush off vehicles in the winter months


• Assist with snow removal from parking lot and sidewalks as needed


• Help with opening and closing the facility as needed. (Gates, doors, etc.)


• Help maintain the facility with basic upkeep (sweeping, cleaning, organizing, etc.)


• Other similar tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail


• Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner


• Basic computer skills


• Possess a basic hands-on ability


• Ability to follow direction with a high level of accuracy


• Prolonged periods standing and walking.


• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.


• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.


• Proficient with driving automatic transmission vehicles and a willingness to learn to drive a manual transmission if needed.
