Job Description - New Vehicle Sales Representative



Salary plus commissions! 

Recognized as one of the top dealer groups in the nation -- Gilchrist Automotive is growing it's sales team with top talent. We will teach you proven sales tactics and how to grow your book of business quickly.

We represent a total of 11 manufacturers in various locations throughout DFW.  This gives us the ability to set up one of the strongest Management Training programs in the industry as you grow within our company.  Our goal by 2025 is to have a total of 20 dealerships throughout the DFW market making possibilities endless for promotion within our company.  All you have to do is get yourself in the door, work hard and be successful to have an opportunity to be a part of something great.

We offer a paid training program. No automotive experience is required. Candidates that have worked in retail, hospitality or the service industry are encouraged to apply. Our training program includes full Ford OEM training and guarantee pay for the first 60 days.

RESPONSIBILITIES:                                          

  • Build relationships & create customers for life. Assist them in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
  • Be the expert. Know the in’s & the out’s of product offerings, optional packages & latest technology
  • Perform high-quality and professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles. 
  • Be a consultant, not a typical sales person.
  • Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations
  • Direct report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
  • Bring your ‘A game’ & positive attitude with you every day

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Available to work flexible hours & weekends
  • Ready to hit the ground running on learning new product in’s & out’s
  • Fantastic communication skills with your customers
  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
