Next Steps Pastor

NEXT STEPS PASTOR JOB DESCRIPTION:

The role of the Next Steps Pastor at each location is to guide individuals in their journey at RRC.
With oversight of the Welcome Party, they help people discover their purpose and season of life,bridging connections between different ministries through the Welcome Party. Additionally, they oversee Serve Teams, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests during weekend experiences. Next Steps Pastors lead, train, equip, and spiritually guide campus leads and team members.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Oversee the Serve Teams and Welcome Party ministries.
2. Respond to volunteer-related emails from Campus Leads, Team Leads, and Volunteers.
3. Provide encouragement to the volunteers for serving.
4. Ensure Sunday services are a clean, safe, organized, and warm environment
5. Responsible for maintaining Welcome Party and Serve Team supplies.
6. Meet with volunteers and volunteer leaders for training, assistance, and walking them through processes.
7. Working alongside the Central Next Steps Ministry Leader and Next Steps team to organize Campus Volunteer Leader Meetings.
8. Work with Campus Pastor (when necessary) to identify/interview new volunteer campus leadership.
9. Coordinate meeting with the Campus Pastor weekly to debrief Serve Team and Welcome Party issues, needs, and processes.
10. Implement and execute Welcome Party weekly.
11. Oversee First Look and First Serves for Serve Teams.
12. Support staff through the Welcome Party process.
13. Manage volunteer recruitment and onboarding process.
14. Send a weekly volunteer email.
15. Email leads to let them know about new volunteers
