Cognyte is seeking a dynamic and visionary Vice President of Product Management & Strategy to lead our Decision Intelligence business unit. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of AI-driven big data and OSINT solutions that empower organizations to extract actionable insights from vast, complex datasets. You will oversee Product Management and Product Solutions Management teams, driving the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution to accelerate business growth, deliver superior customer value, and maintain Cognyte’s position as an industry leader. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Define and drive strategic direction: Develop and execute a long-term product strategy that aligns with the company’s mission and business objectives, ensuring sustained growth and market leadership in the Data Analytics and OSINT domains. 
• Lead high-impact teams: Manage and mentor product management and solutions teams, fostering a collaborative, data-driven, and innovation-focused culture that enables professional growth and high performance. 
• Own the product lifecycle: Oversee end-to-end product management – from market analysis and ideation to launch and post-release optimization – ensuring alignment with customer needs and industry trends. 
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner closely with R&D leadership and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of cutting-edge products that meet both technical and business objectives. 
• Leverage data and insights: Use market intelligence, customer feedback, and analytics to refine strategy, enhance competitiveness, and maximize revenue opportunities. 
• Measure and optimize performance: Define and monitor KPIs to evaluate business unit performance and ensure continuous improvement in product offerings, market positioning, and customer satisfaction. 
• Represent Cognyte externally: Engage with customers, partners, and industry thought leaders to advocate Cognyte’s vision and influence the future of decision intelligence solutions. 

Qualifications & Skills 

• 15+ years of experience in product management, strategy and R&D roles, including 10+ years in senior leadership positions within high-tech or data-driven industries. 
• Proven success in complex technological environments, preferably involving AI, data analytics and SaaS solutions. 
• Strong R&D collaboration experience with an ability to bridge technical and business perspectives. 
• Track record of driving revenue growth and achieving financial targets through innovative product strategies. 
• Expertise in managing multiple high-impact initiatives in fast-paced, global, and highly competitive markets. 
• Outstanding leadership and team-building capabilities, inspiring high-performing cross-functional teams. 
• Experience working with intelligence, law enforcement and governmental customers is a big advantage 
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field (MBA preferred). 
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer engagements, conferences, and product events.
