Job Title: NG911 Integration Architect

Location: 2 MetroTech Center, Brooklyn, NY 11201

Role Type: Contract (35 Hours a Week)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled NG911 Integration Architect with expertise in OTI (Operational Technology Integration) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing consistent and secure integration solutions, ensuring the smooth interoperability of the system of systems. They will collaborate closely with Engineers, Applied Engineers, Architects, and Project Managers to deliver desired functionality while adhering to best engineering practices.

Responsibilities:

• Provide consistent and secure integration solutions, including the collection, identification, and approval of technical specifications, and subsequent development of technology solutions.
• Collaborate with Engineers, Applied Engineers, Architects, and Project Managers to ensure the delivery of desired functionality and requirements, as well as the interoperability of the system of systems.
• Ensure stable enterprise architecture and system of systems architecture by following best engineering practices.
• Lead comprehensive end-to-end thread testing discussions, identifying areas for automation and scripting wherever possible to enhance efficiency.
• Provide engineering assistance for creating, optimizing, and executing QA/Acceptance Test Plan (ATP) test plans.

Mandatory Skills:

• Minimum 12 years of experience in a particular technical and/or business application, product, platform, methodology, or skill set.
• Ability to design a strategy around a defined application or process.
• Clear understanding of the systems development life cycle.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as presentation and facilitation skills.
• Organization, creativity, flexibility, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Subject Matter Expertise in Enterprise Integration and design of Mission Critical 911 systems of systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience in OTI, particularly in the integration of NG911 systems.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in enterprise integration and system architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and provide effective solutions.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across departments.
• Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL, PMP) is a plus.
