Director of Nursing Services - Labor & Delivery Unit

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a high-performing clinical team within the Labor & Delivery unit
• Drive clinical excellence through implementation of evidence-based practices
• Oversee quality metrics, patient satisfaction, and departmental KPIs
• Manage departmental budget and resource allocation
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accreditation standards
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance patient care
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
• Drive continuous improvement in patient safety and clinical outcomes
• Optimize patient flow and resource utilization

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in state of practice or active compact license
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum 5 years L&D clinical experience
• 3+ years leadership experience in maternal care
• BLS certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration
• RNC-OB certification
• NRP and ACLS certifications
• Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
• Experience with quality improvement initiatives
