Night Auditor

Night Auditor – Part Time (Friday & Saturday Nights) $25/hr 

Shade Hotels is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Night Auditor to join our team. This role combines front desk operations with end-of-day financial procedures to ensure smooth overnight operations and exceptional guest experiences.

What You’ll Do

• Provide outstanding guest service, promptly addressing inquiries and concerns.
• Perform accurate nightly audits, balance transactions, and generate end-of-day reports.
• Manage check-ins, check-outs, and reservations with accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor hotel security through regular walk-throughs, ensuring safety for guests and property.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping and other departments to fulfill guest needs.
• Prepare morning setup for dining and office operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1-2 years as Night Auditor
• Knowledge of Opera is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills; additional languages a plus.
• Basic math skills for handling cash, computing rates, and preparing reports.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Familiarity with the local area and ability to provide recommendations.
• Previous hospitality or front desk experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs.
