Job Title: Night Auditor
Location: Cannery Pier Hotel & Spa – Astoria, Oregon
Job Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Thursday-Friday and Saturday (weekend availability required)
Hours: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekly Hours: Approx. 24 hours
Pay Range: $18.00–$19.00 per hour (DOE)
As a Night Auditor, you’ll be the friendly face (and voice!) of the hotel during the overnight hours. You’ll balance financial reports, assist guests with late check-ins or early departures, and ensure everything is ready for a smooth morning hand-off.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Handling late-night check-ins and early check-outs with warmth and professionalism
Balancing daily accounts and performing audit tasks with accuracy
Preparing and distributing daily financial and occupancy reports
Posting room charges, payments, and resolving billing issues
Maintaining a safe and secure environment for all guests and staff overnight
Supporting guest requests and addressing any concerns with a problem-solving mindset
Collaborating with housekeeping and maintenance teams for seamless service delivery
Taking initiative with any additional tasks from hotel leadership
High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or college coursework is a plus
Previous experience in hotel front desk or night audit strongly preferred
Comfortable working independently overnight
Detail-oriented with strong math and analytical skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Familiarity with hotel management systems and Microsoft Office
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
Reliable and flexible to work weekends and holidays as needed
