Night Security Officer

We’re currently seeking a reliable and professional Night-Shift Security Officer (Unarmed, Mobile Patrol) to provide security coverage at our Tacoma, WA campus, which includes:

• Toyota of Tacoma
• Larson Hyundai
• Volkswagen of Tacoma

Responsibilities

• Conduct nightly patrols of dealership lots, service areas, and facilities across the Fife campus using a company vehicle.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, or property damage.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or safety concerns.
• Complete detailed incident and patrol reports.
• Ensure gates, doors, and vehicles are secure throughout the shift.
• Communicate with management regarding security issues or risks.
• Provide courteous assistance to employees or authorized visitors after hours.

Schedule & Compensation

• Night shift (typically 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM), including weekends and holidays.
• Pay range: $21.00 – $25.00/hour DOE.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Valid Washington State driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Current Washington State Unarmed Security Guard License (or ability to obtain).
• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
• Strong observational, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
