Our Dispatch Center functions as the control hub of our operations, and our Night Shift Dispatch Coordinators are the backbone of overnight productivity — maintaining command and control of field teams, LPR fleets, and secure storage yards during off-peak hours.

Position Overview

The Night Shift Dispatcher Coordinator oversees all nighttime field operations, ensuring every recovery, transport, and assignment is executed safely, accurately, and efficiently. This role demands a steady mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to make confident decisions under pressure.

You will monitor live operations across multiple markets, coordinate with agents and law enforcement, update client portals, and provide real-time visibility to management through dispatch logs and reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all after-hours dispatching for HNS Recovery across assigned territories.


• Coordinate field agents, LPR units, and transport drivers using Clearplan, RDN, and Verizon Connect.


• Monitor LPR scans, video feeds, and yard cameras to ensure operational awareness and agent safety.


• Assign recoveries based on zone coverage, agent availability, and job priority.


• Maintain constant radio and text communication with field agents throughout recoveries.


• Log and document every recovery, tow, and incident accurately in company systems.


• Handle emergency calls, client inquiries, and law enforcement verifications professionally.


• Ensure all repossessions and impounds follow TDLR and client compliance standards.


• Generate nightly reports summarizing completed recoveries, incidents, and active assignments.


• Escalate urgent or high-value recoveries to management in real time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of dispatch, logistics, or repossession experience preferred.


• Strong working knowledge of Clearplan, RDN, and Verizon Connect.


• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.


• High level of integrity, accountability, and discretion.


• Ability to work independently and stay alert during overnight hours (10 PM – 6 AM or similar schedule).


• Proficiency with Google Workspace and computer-based tracking systems.


• Calm under pressure, with strong judgment for field safety and escalation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in repossession, law enforcement, security operations, or fleet logistics.


• Familiarity with LPR (License Plate Recognition) systems such as DRN or MVTrac.


• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.


• Prior experience in a 24/7 command center or night operations environment.
