Night Shift Helper

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Night Shift Helper to support operations in laser cutting department within a steel manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone with experience in industrial environments who is comfortable operating equipment, handling materials, and assisting with production processes.

Pay: $17.00

Shift: 3:30pm to 1:30am Night Shift | Monday–Thursday | Occasional Overtime May Be Required

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations in the laser cutting department
• Operate a forklift to move materials and finished products safely
• Utilize overhead crane to handle steel plates and components
• Perform grinding and finishing of parts to meet quality standards
• Support machine operators with loading/unloading materials
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
• Assist with general shop duties as needed

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or steel environment preferred
• Experience operating a forklift
• Ability to safely operate or willingness to learn overhead crane operations
• Experience using grinders and hand tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work night shift (Monday–Thursday) with overtime as needed
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment
• Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shift
