Night Shift Lift Driver

Description

Are you a motivated and reliable individual looking to join our team as a Forklift Operator? This vital role involves efficiently moving full pallets of products from production lines, facilitating material transport, and assisting with various operational tasks by operating a forklift. This is a night shift position, working 7pm - 7:30am on a 2-2-3 schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to transport full pallets of products from production lines to designated locations within the warehouse.
• Shipping Assistance: Support shipping operations by scanning and staging finished products for loading.
• Supply Management: Ensure production lines are consistently supplied to maintain optimal production flow.
• Warehouse Organization: Contribute to facility organization and cleanliness by storing items in their designated locations and adhering to FIFO (First In, First Out) standards.
• End-of-Shift Duties: Complete end-of-shift tasks, including emptying trash hoppers and removing scrap from production areas.
• Quality Assurance: Verify proper tagging, packing, and pallet quality before removing them from production lines.
• Checklist Maintenance: Complete a daily forklift checklist before each shift.
• Versatile Assistance: Assist with various production needs as directed, both on and off the forklift.

Qualifications:

• Forklift Certification: Must possess a forklift certification and be willing to obtain any specific certifications required as per company policies.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety standards and processes and consistently follow forklift safety policies and procedures.
• Work Pace: Maintain a work pace appropriate to workload to meet production goals.
• Physical Requirements: Capable of walking, standing, and maneuvering on uneven surfaces, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Team Player: Work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Instruction Adherence: Understand and follow instructions with minimal supervision.

• Location: FMT, 2000 Industrial Dr, Findlay, Ohio 45840, and other local facilities as needed.
• Reporting: This position will report to the Process Technician.
