The Production Lead works in the production area at Innovative Labs to ensure that documentation, specifications, scheduling, and components are correct and complete.
They also help resolve employee conflicts and other issues as they arise.
Schedule: 4x10's 6pm to 4:30am Mo-Tu and Th-Fri
As a Production Lead, you will:
- Supervise production lines in Pod/team
- Verify correct product, components, MBR’s/MPR’s, specifications for lines in pod/team
- Run 1 machine and work with other Operator II’s and team in running other machines in pod/team
- Responsible to ensure team makes quality product meeting Innovative Labs quality standards
- Fill out and complete MPR’s
- Monitor and complete RedZone input and all compliance checks
- Complete RedZone PreOp checks and End of Run sign off’s for production lines daily
- Verify all production paperwork
- Resolve personnel issues pertaining to production, Scheduling and management.
- Attend required meetings, including: Production, Scheduling and Management
- Help manager with daily scheduling of lines
- Log production employee’s attendance and performance
- Help and assist manager with quarterly assessments
- Communicate with batching, maintenance, warehouse and QA relating to work issues
- Pass off the Operator II certification and each yearly recertification there after
- Train and develop assigned Operator II’s on team and prepare them for certification
- Mentor assigned production team in production SOP’s, quality standards, communication skills, etc
- Ability to run HMC, change over, make adjustments, trouble shoot, and produce quality product and other skills required of an Operator II
- Help with basic PM’s of the HMC machines
- Keep HMC machine and area around it clean.
- HMC Knowledge, Heavy Lifting, Maintenance, Temperature, and Quality Control
- Help make boxes/cartons
- Help put boxes/cartons on pallets
- Other duties as assigned by manager

Experience and Education
- Machinery operator/maintenance experience on Technical equipment (4+ years)
- Ability to lead team and meet production goals.

- An ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong team player.
- High school diploma or GED
