Night Warehouse Loader

JOB SUMMARY: 

Assist in the tasks related to loading the Company’s trucks for customer delivery.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately load trucks according to the delivery driver’s stops 

• Arrange the load in a manner which it is secure and protects the product under it (i.e., preventing spills, falls and placing loose items in a box together)

• Consistently check quality of product for leaks or damage and replace if needed; document any damage appropriately after replacing on the warehouse damage log

• Assist in cleaning up all work areas in the warehouse in preparation for the next shift

• Assist other teams, whether in pulling, loading or any other duties

• Work in a safe manner

Requirements

QUALIFICATION, SKILL, AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma preferred

• Warehouse food distribution and forklift experience preferred

• Must be dependable and able to work as a part of a team or individually with little or no supervision required

• Reliable attendance is required

• Flexibility and excellent organizational skills

• Ability to bend and reach for products on pallets

• Ability to lift repetitively and carry up to 80 pounds

• Ability to climb into and out of truck compartments

• Ability to climb ladder

• Ability to work on concrete floors for extended periods of time

• Ability to work in extreme climates

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively

• Must be able to read and understand a loading diagram

Must be able to pass drug screening and background check.
