Extrusion Department Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Extrusion Department Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising a team and ensuring that the shift maintains a high level of productivity while meeting quality standards. You will play a key role in coordinating with other shifts and departments to provide top-quality products to our customers. Primary Responsibilities:

• Inspect production consistently to ensure products are manufactured according to job specifications; take corrective action to resolve issues.
• Coordinate with other shifts and departments to deliver high-quality products to customers.
• Maintain accurate production and quality control records on a daily basis.
• Supervise all shift production employees and equipment in the facility.
• Maintain a safe working environment to prevent accidents and injuries actively.
• Perform administrative duties such as associate counseling forms, vacation requests, and performance reviews.

Requirements and Skills:

• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Effective analysis and interpretation abilities to maximize productivity and minimize scrap.
• Computer literate with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Email applications.
• Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate proportions, percentages, area, and volume.
