NOC Front Office Engineer

Location: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

The NOC Front Office Engineer will work in shifts and will have the following responsibilities:

• Monitor networks with different EMS / NMS tools and act according to the relevant processes.
• Applies analytical skills and technical knowledge to solve product and network issues of moderate complexity
• Answer service requests from internal and external customers
• Support field engineers in the regions
• Follow helpdesk process to support service request
• Work in lab to re-produce field issues and for self-training
• The NOC Front Office Engineer will work in day/night shifts

Must:

1. University diploma or terminal year student
2. Basic theoretical knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing and Switching, Wireless LAN, Network Monitoring System, Radio Propagation principles
3. Basic knowledge in Microwave / Radio communications systems
4. Advanced written and verbal skills
5. Willing to work in shifts, including weekends and Public Holiday
6. Customer oriented
7. Solution focused
8. Excellent communication skills

Advantage:

1. Previous experience in similar positions
2. Experience in installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of microwave communication systems
3. 1-3 years of experience in customer-facing roles (support, NOC)
4. CCNA or equivalent knowledge
5. Additional language (English, other).
