Nocturnist

Excellent opportunity for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Nocturnist Physicians to join a well establish group near Denver, CO. This is an exciting opportunity for new graduates and experienced physicians alike.

For our nocturnists, full time is 14 shifts per month, 10-hour shifts, 10pm-8am. The nocturnists currently average 6-7 admissions per 10-hour shift and also provide cross coverage for the hospitalist patients in house which averages around 68-70 patients. EMR is EPIC.

About the Role:

• Open ICU but with substantial support from our intensivists who are on call 24/7 who manage vents and other specific critical care issues arising overnight.
• Nocturnist do run codes, but this would be the medical side only with support for airways/lines provided by other services.
  

• We do not require any procedures and have extensive support from surgery and anesthesia at night when codes occur and/or procedures are needed.

Requirements:

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Ability to manage admissions, discharges, and conduct rounds with a collaborative, patient-focused approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
