Inova Schar Heart and Vascular Central region seeks an experienced, board certified/eligible, non-invasive cardiologist to work clinically full-time at its outpatient office Inova Center for Personalized Health with inpatient rounding at our Inova Fairfax Hospital. This physician will further develop a growing clinical practice that drives volume for Inova’s cardiac diagnostic and imaging center and will take call at those locations. 

The Physician is responsible for providing quality medical care to Inova Health System patients and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. This role will also be responsible for conducting comprehensive medical exams, making diagnoses, developing treatment plans, and providing education and guidance to patients on disease prevention and management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution. 
• Experience: successful completion of Internal Medicine residency program and a Cardiology fellowship.
• Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia.
• Certification: Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular disease, and Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start. 
• Payer Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
• Medical Staff Credentialing: Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services
