Non-CDL (Box Truck Driver)

R&T Staffing is looking for dedicated and professional Box Truck Drivers to join our team in Columbus, OH. As a Box Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials within the Columbus area. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a box truck to transport products, goods, and materials between distribution facilities and route drivers.


• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining excellent communication with company and customer personnel.


• Perform daily inspections of the delivery vehicle, including checking all fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall roadworthiness to ensure compliance with DOT requirements.


• Follow the most efficient routes for delivery while adhering to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and regulations.


• Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are handled with care.


• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and any incidents that occur during the route.


• Uphold high standards of customer satisfaction through prompt and professional service.

Schedule & Pay 

• Monday - Friday (Multiple Schedule)


• $18 - $20 an hour depending on experience

Requriments: 

• Must be 21 years or older.


• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.


• Experience driving a box truck or similar vehicle preferred.


• Good physical condition, capable of lifting over 60 pounds, standing for extended periods, climbing steps and ladders, and performing tasks that require bending, stooping, and carrying products up steps and down ramps.


• Knowledge of Columbus, OH, and surrounding areas.


• Strong organizational and time management skills.


• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Duties: 

• Operate a box truck to ensure safe and efficient transportation of products and materials.


• Observe and adhere to all traffic signs, laws, and road conditions.


• Deliver excellent customer service through prompt and accurate product delivery and effective communication with both company and customer personnel.


• Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure it meets all DOT safety requirements.
