Non-CDL Roll-off Driver

Description

Looking for a driver whose goal is to obtain their CDL, company will provide training after 1-2 years of driving in the light duty driver position. The light duty roll-off truck driver position is a non-CDL role that is responsible for delivering & picking up dumpsters and disposing at various sites & transfer stations in an appropriate manner. This position does require the ability to pass a DOT physical and maintain a valid health card.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Operates light duty roll-off trucks

2. Performs required pre-trip & post trip inspections and provides required reports

3. Provides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations

4. Ability to operate safely within DOT rules and regulations

5. Participate in company safety programs

6. Maintains and protects all property

7. Informs on-duty mechanic of any maintenance issues with equipment and/or vehicles

8. Fuels truck at the end of each workday

9. Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Have a valid Minnesota Class D License

2. Ability to pass a DOT physical and maintain a valid health card

3. Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds

4. Driver must be minimum of 18 years old per DOT.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

1. High school diploma or GED preferred

2. Must have a clean driving record
