• Patient Volume/Census: Average 8–12 new consults/day

• Case Mix: General Cardiology Consults Only

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• Inpatient general cardiology consultations

• Follow-up consultations

• Testing as applicable

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active FL medical license

• Board: Letter of Board Eligibility

• DEA: Active DEA Certification

• Certifications: BLS and ACLS through AHA; NICA membership required

• Experience: Prior inpatient cardiology experience preferred

• Other Qualifications: Completion of MSO orientation and Epic training prior to first scheduled shift; Case logs from the past 12 months (primary source only, no gaps)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide new general cardiology consultations during scheduled shifts

• Collaborate with second call physician for patient coverage

• Perform follow-up consultations and testing as required

• Attend MSO orientation (remote) and Epic inpatient training (onsite if required)

• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the EMR system
