Overview
Jones Advisors HR Consulting is actively searching for a Nonprofit Development & Marketing Coordinator on behalf of our client, Urban Ministries. This is a full-time, hybrid role in Raleigh, NC.
Urban Ministries of Wake County (UMWC) seeks a highly organized, creative, and mission-driven Development & Marketing Coordinator to support the organization's fundraising, donor engagement, marketing, and communications efforts.
This position is intentionally designed to support both Development and Marketing/Communications. It will play an important role in expanding UMWC's visibility, strengthening relationships with donors and community partners, supporting fundraising initiatives, and telling the story of the people and communities we serve.
The ideal candidate is a strong writer and communicator who is equally comfortable working with donor data, coordinating fundraising activities, creating compelling content, managing projects, and helping execute events and campaigns. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on position that requires strong attention to detail, initiative, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
The Development & Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Development Director, Executive Director, program staff, Board members, volunteers, donors, community partners, and vendors.

Physical Requirements
Work is performed primarily in a non-profit office environment. The position regularly requires standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, and moving. Work Environment
The Development & Marketing Coordinator works primarily in a professional office environment, with regular interaction with staff, Board members, volunteers, donors, community partners, vendors, and members of the public. The position also participates in fundraising events, community activities, donor meetings, and other activities that may take place outside of the office. The position requires professionalism, strong communication, collaboration, creativity, adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. The Development & Marketing Coordinator must be comfortable working in a fast-paced nonprofit environment, balancing administrative responsibilities with donor engagement, fundraising, marketing, communications, and event support. The position requires a commitment to the mission of Urban Ministries of Wake County and the ability to represent the organization positively and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders.
