Noon Hour Aide-PT

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Part Time Noon Hour Aide to join out Team!

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Previous experience working with children or adolescents in a school, childcare, camp, recreation, or similar setting preferred.

· Ability to effectively supervise and monitor students while maintaining a safe, orderly, and positive environment.

· Demonstrated ability to manage student behavior using positive behavior management techniques and consistent expectations.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families.

NATURE OF THE POSITION:

The lunch aide will monitor students during mealtimes, ensuring that all students behave appropriately and adhere to mealtime procedures. They may also assist students who have difficulty carrying their trays or need help with food selection. strong customer service skills as they will be interacting with students and staff daily. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards is crucial.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION:

1. Setting up for lunch; serving lunch quickly, neatly, and attractively.


2. Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors


3. Maintaining a professional appearance at all times in accordance with the Academy standards.


4. May assist in preparing and serving meals in accordance with planned menus


5. Perform cleaning and sanitizing duties in the kitchen and cafeteria area


6. Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations


7. Other duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or designee.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Position requires frequent standing and walking throughout building and school grounds. Ability to stoop, crouch, kneel and bend occasionally. Occasionally lifts and carries materials or items weighing up to 30 pounds. Ability to use senses - sight, hearing, smell and touch. Ability to type; uses hand/eye coordination for typing and data entry.
