We are a family-owned Minnesota based business with a shop in Stanley, North Dakota. As our company continues to grow- we are currently hiring for 2nd shift! We are looking for someone detail oriented, mechanically inclined, with a great attitude. You would be responsible for the complete diagnosis, repair, and general maintenance on heavy duty diesel trucks and trailers.

SCHEDULE:

Monday -Friday, 2nd shift, 2pm- 12am

PAY RANGE:

 $27- $40+/hr (open to discussion- varies based on skillset and experience) 


Requirements

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Performs routine servicing and repairing of diesel trucks and trailers.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, disassemble vehicles and examine parts for defects and excessive wear.
  • Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units.
  • Perform repair and customization work as assigned including routine maintenance, brake replacement/repair, suspension repair, electrical and pneumatic and hydraulic component troubleshooting and repair, trailer body repair including complete trailer rebuild.
  • Provide after-sale services, such as component installation
  • Inspect the overall condition of Truck and Trailer to ensure that they meet U.S. Department of Transportation's safety requirements.
  • Compile inspection reports detailing their findings
  • Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
  • Ensure the final work product meets quality standards
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-workers

Requirements
