North American Trailer-Engine Shop Service Advisor

We are a Minnesota based family-owned business with our main location in Inver Grove Heights, MN. We are hiring a 2nd shift Service Advisor for our Truck Shop. This position handles the day-to-day supervision of shift operations and technicians. We are looking for someone with mechanical aptitude; detail oriented; willing to jump in and help out where needed; and strong computer skills with a great work ethic.

SHIFT:

1st Shift, Monday- Friday, 6am-3pm

WAGE: $25- $38+/hr (varies based on skillset and experience)

The essential duties include:

•Provide leadership and direction to the technicians

•Evaluate technician’s skillset and provide training as needed

•Assist technicians in locating parts / job related issues

•Schedule shift work

•Call in customer repairs and approvals / unit updates

•Organize shift with parts to pick up and vehicles for repair

•Create estimate (if needed) and invoice repair orders in a timely manner

•Related activities that promote the goals of the Organization
