Primary Responsibilities

In the role of

North Texas Electrical Business Class Lead

we'll count on you to:

Take responsibility for operations of production section including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing supportFunction as Project Manager and take responsibility for production on projects in addition to management responsibilitiesTake administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other sectionsBe involved in marketing planning, proposals and interviewsCoordinate the work of Electrical Engineers with the balance of a multidiscipline team throughout the entire project's developmentEstablish client relations, and participate in the marketing, design and production meetings with regard to electrical systemsAssume the electrical lead on many projectsParticipate in reviews with various governing agencies for code complianceConduct schematic, design development and contract document work sessions at the project site in conjunction with the Project Manager, Project Architect and other disciplinesCoordinate workload through the entire project development to complete documents on scheduleTrack the financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust the work effort with the team to ensure that the work is completed within the parameters of the agreed-upon scheduleWork with the Project Manager and Regional Controller for project reviews with corporate management as neededPerform other duties as needed*LI-BM1

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasisMinimum 10 years of experience with extensive knowledge of building electrical power, lighting and signal design, including life safety systems and building management systemsPEProficiency in Microsoft OfficeProficiency with Revit (Grasshopper/Dynamo experience a plus) and electrical design softwareAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustPreferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis10+ years experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems); previous experience with an architectural/ engineering or engineering consulting firm desired.Preference given to local candidates
