About Jersey Mike’s
Jersey Mike’s Novi combines fast-paced energy with a culture of mentorship. Our MIT program provides a hands-on experience where you’ll learn to lead a team, manage store operations, and grow into a management role in a supportive environment.

Position Overview
As a Manager in Training in Novi, you’ll start by mastering all store operations and gain experience leading a team during high-volume shifts. You’ll progress through structured phases, earning raises and expanding your responsibilities on the way to leadership.

Growth Path & Pay

Starting MIT: $13–$14/hr + tips ($3–5/hr average)

Phase 1 – Shift Leader: +$1/hr raise

Phase 3 – Assistant Manager: +$1/hr raise

General Manager: Competitive salary + bonus opportunities

Key Responsibilities

Lead and inspire team members

Learn all food prep, service, and store standards

Train, coach, and motivate staff

Help with scheduling, inventory, and organization

Maintain a clean and safe store environment

Fill in for managers as needed

Qualifications

Previous experience in restaurant, retail, or customer service preferred

Strong leadership potential and communication skills

Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Motivated to grow and take on new challenges

Must be at least 18 years old (17+ for closing shifts)

6 months of food service, retail, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
