Now Hiring: Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

• Collaborate with classroom teachers, EL specialists, and other service providers.
  


• Provide training or consultation to staff and families to support carryover of skills.
  


• Provide therapy services in English and the student’s native language, when appropriate.
  


• Maintain clear and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  


• Help identify appropriate assessment tools for culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
  


• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  


• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in bilingual and multilingual students.
  

Requirements

• Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
  


• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  


• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (written and spoken skills required).
  


• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFs will be considered with appropriate supervision.
  


• Active Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathology endorsement.
