We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time School Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional care for a student with seizure disorder in a school setting. This position requires close one-on-one attention to ensure the safety and well-being of the student throughout the school day. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and responding to the student's seizure needs, administering medication as necessary, and providing support during classroom activities and transitions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one care and support to a student with seizure disorder throughout the school day.
• Monitor the student's health and well-being, including vital signs and seizure activity.
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by the student's healthcare provider.
• Educate school staff on seizure care protocols and provide guidance on managing emergency situations.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in pliance with state and federal regulations.
• Assist with the student's transportation needs, including riding the school bus and ensuring a safe journey to and from school.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in pediatric nursing and seizure management.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Experience working with pediatric patients, preferably in a school or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of seizure disorders and experience providing care to individuals with epilepsy.
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules, including occasional evening or weekend events.
