Part-Time Occupational Therapist | California Schools | Make an Impact

Looking for a flexible opportunity to use your skills where they matter most? A California school district is seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist to support elementary students throughout the upcoming school year. This position offers the chance to work in a collaborative educational setting where you'll help students develop the functional abilities needed to participate successfully in the classroom and school environment.

Whether you're an experienced school-based therapist or looking to transition into pediatrics, this role provides the opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working alongside a team that values collaboration, innovation, and student success.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate students to identify functional strengths and areas of need.

Monitor student outcomes and adjust interventions based on individual needs.

Develop individualized occupational therapy intervention plans aligned with student goals.

Provide direct therapy services that promote fine motor skills, sensory processing, independence, and classroom participation.

Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and educational success.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an active California Occupational Therapy license or be eligible for state licensure. The ability to provide in-person services at assigned school sites is required. Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, along with a passion for helping students develop greater independence and reach their educational goals.
