Montessori Preschool Assistant Teacher

Montessori School of Silicon Valley is looking to hire a Preschool Assistant Teacher for our Primary (Preschool/Kindergarten) Community at our Cantera Montessori location. Our Primaryl Community serves children ages 2–6 years, following a traditional Montessori philosophy that values respect, independence, and joyful learning. This is a wonderful entry-level position with opportunities to grow within our Montessori environments and build a career in early childhood education.

What You’ll Do:

• Support the Lead Teacher in preparing and maintaining a beautiful, organized Montessori environment


• Work with children individually and in small groups to encourage independence and curiosity


• Assist with classroom activities, daily routines, and transitions


• Supervise children both indoors and outdoors with care and attentiveness


• Foster a collaborative, positive classroom culture through teamwork and clear communication


• Model respect, patience, and kindness in all interactions
