NP, PA, Midwife

Queens GYN/Fertility practice is currently searching for outstanding NP, PA or Midwife to join our practice to perform GYN services. This is a wonderful opportunity to join an established and well-respected and diverse GYN practice that is rapidly growing. For GYN services, the qualified candidates must be certified and have completed a clinical rotation in GYN or women’s healthcare. The qualified candidates will treat patients effectively and comprehensively in an outpatient setting.

Requirements:

• Degree from an accredited program


• Excellent bedside manner and communication skills


• Personal and medical professionalism


• Passion for high quality patient-centered care

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform history and physical examinations and pap smears as needed.


• Document visits in electronic medical record in a timely manner


• Educate patients on their health conditions in a way they can understand.


• Follow up with patients more frequently for effective condition management.


• Utilize your support team to complete standing orders


• Order diagnostic tests based on assessments, develop treatment plans, prescribe drugs and other therapies as needed


• Make referrals as necessary, consulting with supervising medical provider when appropriate.


• Maintain patient confidentiality


• Participate in meetings


• Work collaboratively with other members of the medical team


• Collaborate with the management team on quality improvement initiatives


• Have an open mind to feedback, different perspectives, reflection, and growth.

Position type:

• Part Time- 1-2 days


• 8 hour shifts
