We help Lam deliver industry-leading solutions with speed and efficiency, while actively supporting the resilient and profitable growth of Lam\u0027s business. \n\n## The impact you\u2019ll make\n\nAs Project Manager at Lam, you will play a pivotal role in driving projects/programs for Global Supply Chain Management\u2019s Technology Commodity team. You\u2019ll be at the forefront of project initiation through delivery, using your expertise to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. In this role, you will directly contribute to the smooth rollout of Lam\u2019s New Product Integration (NPI) supply chain programs and projects by delivering strategic direction on resource alignment, prioritizing strategies, managing project progress and performance, and handling stakeholder expectations.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\n * Execute the strategy developed by commodity leads, gaining alignment and motivating and engaging both internal and external stakeholders to fulfill project objectives.\n * Drive cross-functional projects and recurring activities to ensure the successful transition of alternative material qualifications and implementations.\n * Manage the transfer of complex semiconductor WFE components from prototype status to production status by interfacing with technical design teams, production readiness teams, and suppliers.\n * Manage Lam expectations through an in-depth knowledge of supplier processes and by assisting design teams with knowledge of supplier capabilities and limitations.\n * Assess project risks and drive mitigation activities.\n * Manage project-specific supply chain readiness and communicate status.\n * Build rapport and collaborative relationships with assigned suppliers to ensure accountability systems are in place, operating models meet the needs of both organizations, and NPI capability roadmaps are aligned.\n * Operate across boundaries and prioritize organizational activities to achieve best\u2011in\u2011class results.\n * Develop and present meaningful and impactful messages to a wide array of internal and external audiences.\n * Monitor work from project initiation through completion, providing support and direction, and escalating issues until resolved or mitigated.\n\n\n\n## Who we\u2019re looking for\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field with 8 years of related experience; or 6 years with a Master\u2019s degree; or 3 years with a Ph.D.\n * Five years of related experience in project management or program management.\n * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.\n * Detail-oriented, agile, tolerant of ambiguity, and self-driven.\n\n\n\n## Preferred qualifications\n\n * Semiconductor industry or global supplier experience.\n * Experience interfacing with or managing relationships with external suppliers.\n * Technical acumen or interest in technology that enables productive relationships with technical design teams.\n * Knowledge of the process steps involved in the production of complex subassemblies or complex metal machining.\n * Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2.\n\n\n\n## Our commitment\n\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories \u2013 On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. \u2018On-site Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. \u2018Virtual Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.\n\n#LI-YS1\n\nSalary\n\nCA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $92,000.00 - $211,000.00.\n\nThe above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role.
