Trauma Level: Level IV Trauma Center
EMR System: Medhost
Specialty Backup Available: Yes (OB/GYN, Imaging, Ultrasound, Cardiology, Orthopedic, General Surgery, Urology, Rehabilitation)

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active Texas License and DEA required
Certifications: ATLS and ACLS required
Experience: 2 years of emergency medicine experience required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the ED.
Perform initial patient assessments, including history and physical exams.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
Collaborate with attending physicians and specialists for patient management.
Document patient encounters accurately in Medhost EMR.
