PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Active certification through AANP/ANCC
Licenses: Active TN RN License, TN NP License, TN DEA with Prescriptive Authority
DEA / CDS: Active DEA and CDS required
Certifications: ACLS, PALS
Experience: 2 years of recent experience preferred; new grads considered
Other Qualifications: Case logs for past 2 years, Preeclampsia-Eclampsia CME, MMR/Varicella immunity documentation, TB test

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED during night shifts.
Manage a high volume of patient encounters (approximately 93 per day total department).
Collaborate with supervising physicians and other advanced practice providers.
Perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility policies.
