JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC required (Certified)
Licenses: Licensed in WA or Universal License (IMLC)
DEA: Required
Certifications: ACLS, ATLS
Experience: Comfortable with pediatric trauma and surgery; must be verified to perform pediatric surgeries
Other Qualifications: Comfortable consulting on peds cases, HMP, endoscopic appendectomy

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide trauma surgery coverage for a Level III Pediatric Trauma center.
Perform pediatric surgeries and consultations, including HMP and endoscopic appendectomy.
Cover two weeks per month working 12-hour shifts (7A-7P or 7P-7A) as needed.
Collaborate with the surgical team to manage inpatient trauma cases.
Manage both adult and pediatric trauma patients (approx. 20 patients/day), including rounding.
