The primary role of the Hot Mill/Pickle Line Mechanical Technician is to be part of a team supporting Hot Mill/Pickle Line operations with a focus on Safety, Quality, Reliability, Costs, and Continuous Improvement. The Hot Mill/Pickle Line Mechanical Technician duties include, but are not limited to, safely troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, working around hydrochloric acid, upgrading, and supporting the Hot Mill and Pickle Lines with an emphasis on mechanical equipment and issues. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
