NTSIN Tube Night Shift Supervisor

Basic Job Functions:

The Production Supervisor’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, taking care of our customers by executing the division’s safety, quality, cost, productivity and profitability objectives. The responsibilities of the Production Supervisor include but are not limited to: being a positive member of the leadership team at NTS Crawfordsville, being an active participant developing teammates within our culture as well as overseeing training. This position is also responsible for communicating information across departments and teammates as it relates to safety, quality and production.

This position will work the schedule of 4 on 4 off, 6pm - 6am and will report to the NTSIN Operations Manager. 

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED


• Must have at least 2 years Nucor leadership experience


• Effective communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills


• Commitment to safety, actively involved in their division’s safety initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a Greenfield environment


• Experience working in Operations


• Experience writing/reviewing procedures and training manuals


• Computer knowledge/skills
