Job Summary

Job Description

Under semi-direct supervision, performs a variety of clerical functions to support various nuclear facility departments and activities.

• Performs manual or on-line automated processing of a variety of technical and non-technical documents, including correspondence, reports, form letters, indexes, procedures, specifications, and any other documents relevant to the Nuclear Generation with only broad, general instructions from supervisor.

• Reproduce, control, distribute, file, and receipt acknowledges of controlled documents and procedures as well as distributions to the NRC, INPO and various other organizations within Energy Harbor.

• Operates a variety of equipment including, but not limited to, PCs, FAX Machines, various reproduction machines, scanners to assist assigned departments.

• Maintains, updates, originates, establishes various filing systems for letters, procedures, reports, Operation Manuals, and other documents for both controlled and uncontrolled documents.

• Maintains tracking systems for reports, performance indicators, orders, notifications, committee minutes and other work process documents as assigned for quick retrieval on the status of information.

• Initiates and performs on-line data inputting functions using mainframe and PC-based software applications.

• As required, prepares various administrative reports, some may be statistical in nature.

• Handles mail, schedules business trips, and assists in maintaining recorded information such as equipment inventory, service agreements, office equipment and office supplies.

• Performs special assignment functions (outside the normal activities) during the outages.

• Supports other sections as assigned.

• Maintains Security Safeguards Information in accordance with the applicable procedures.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.

• Must pass clerical aptitude and qualifying typing tests.

• Ability to operate various office equipment.

• Capable of performing data entry functions.
