Compensation Range:
Position Summary:
Adjunct faculty serves as temporary faculty and are appointed as needed on a semester-by-semester basis. The primary responsibility includes teaching of college-level courses and/or labs in the qualified discipline, service and support of college policies and procedures, and professional development.
Job Duties:
Prepare and maintains course syllabi, objectives, and outlines for instruction of students
Evaluates and counsels' students
Supports the program manager in program assessment
Assists the program manager with program operations and periodic review of course materials
Maintains current knowledge and expertise through continuing professional development
Maintains certification and licensure in his/her respective discipline
Follows Hillsborough Community College's policies and procedures for didactic/adjunct faculty
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT (N) OR NMTCB (N)) or appropriately educated to the course teaching
