Job Description 

ATC Healthcare is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Tech for Radiology/Cardiology Unit assignment in Omaha, NE

The Nuclear Medicine Tech is a qualified professional who explain medical procedures to the patient and answer questions, follow safety procedures to protect themselves and the patient from unnecessary radiation exposure.  Nuclear Medicine Tech prepares radioactive drugs and administer them to the patient, maintain and operate imaging equipment, keep detailed records of procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicates and collaborates with physicians and other health team members.


• Provides and coordinates patient care with other health team members.


• Monitors patients' responses to interventions and reports outcomes.


• Administers medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.


• Monitor and evaluates patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit.


• Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.


• Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.

Requirements

• Experience: 2-3 years of experience (Required), Other certifications may be required for this position

• RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission.

Shifts & Scheduling

• Shift: Day Shift (5x8), 13-week contract


• Schedule: 40 hours per week.


• Weekend Requirement:

• PAY Rate: $3150 per week
