About the project

Fixpoint is hiring Nuclear Technicians for a research project at a leading AI company. You will use your expertise to explain the challenges and skillsets of your job, explain what excellence looks like in your profession, and design questions related to your occupation as a Nuclear Technician.

You're a good fit if you have experience with:

• Follow nuclear equipment operational policies and procedures that ensure environmental safety.
• Conduct surveillance testing to determine safety of nuclear equipment.
• Monitor nuclear reactor equipment performance to identify operational inefficiencies, hazards, or needs for maintenance or repair.
• Test plant equipment to ensure it is operating properly.
• Apply safety tags to equipment needing maintenance.

or have similar experience.

Must-have qualifications

• Have 5+ years full-time work experience
• Native-level English skills
• U.S. residency
• Access to a laptop or desktop computer and reliable internet.
• Availability for at least 10 hours per week during the 3- to 4-week engagement (work is fully asynchronous and on your own schedule).

Compensation & logistics

• Hourly pay: $62 – $122, commensurate with experience and project fit.
• Hourly rate may be higher for exceptional candidates
• Paid weekly via Fixpoint, based on approved hours.
• You will be classified as 1099 independent-contractor status; engagement is at-will.
• Entirely remote; work whenever you like as long as deadlines are met.
