Are you interested in making a difference in the lives of pregnant women and their children? At LifeHouse Crisis Maternity Home, as our On-site Nurse, you'll provide prenatal and postnatal education and assist in providing the tools our women need to make healthy choices that will positively impact the health of themselves and their children.
What you’ll do:

Educate and facilitate health and wellness classes using evidence-based curriculum.

Facilitate individual client meetings for the purpose of educating on prenatal and postpartum care.

Accompany resident/client to medical appointments and communicate with health care providers to assist with achieving overall health goals.

Monitor physical appointments for residents, mother, infant and/or children.

Complete prenatal and postpartum depression screenings with intentions of following up with each resident/client.

Provide parent education to resident/client families, including Dedicated Dads.

Attending community networking meetings.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

All you need for success:
Minimum Qualifications
Required:

Registered Nurse (RN)

At least two (2) years with direct patient care

Experience in maternal child health services

This position requires a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance.

Preferred:
Experience working with individuals with homelessness, substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorders, and personality disorders.
